Two of the key focus industries for AWS are Automotive and Manufacturing and we are looking for industry experts to help us build the right business strategies, technology roadmaps, partner strategies, and GTM programs for some of the most challenging areas in this industry.
As the Industry Specialists and Solutions (ISS) Leader for APJ, you will be responsible for managing the team of Automotive and Manufacturing Industry Specialists, which consists of Industry Business Development Managers (IBDs) and Industry Solution Architects for the APJ region. You will own the relationship with the AGS STO leaders to ensure the ISS team is supporting APJ customers. You will own the pipeline, revenue and opportunities for the SWLs in APJ and work with the SWL Leaders in the Automotive and Manufacturing CoEs to provide input and ensure the strategies for the SWLs meet the needs of customers and partners in APJ. Inside AWS, you are an ambassador for our customers in APJ and identify regional partners that can execute on behalf of AWS. You will articulate customer needs by synthesizing your observations from customer and team engagements, as well as market trends around automotive and manufacturing workloads, to inform the roadmap of AWS features and solutions owned by the CoEs. You will make a big impact through your passion for coaching, growing, and partnering with technically skilled, customer-facing IBDs and ISAs. You will develop the industry's best cloud-based team of IBDs and ISAs by coaching them on best practices, solution sales, presentation/speaking skills, and creating solutions to complex industry problems. You will collaborate with AGS to drive revenue growth across automotive and manufacturing customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Leading a team of Industry Business Development and Solution Architects, specialized on Automotive and/or Manufacturing Lines of Business domains, such as Software Defined Vehicles, Supply Chain, and Smart Manufacturing.
- Own the pipeline and ARR for automotive and manufacturing SWLs in XXX.
- Hire and develop bar raising automotive and manufacturing industry specialists.
- Work with regional ISS peers and CoE leaders to determine resource investments and balancing.
- Build mechanisms to scale the team, and industry knowledge exponentially across AGS and AWSI.
- Set measurable goals, tracking and reporting progress for team members.
- Track and report on automotive and manufacturing trends across APJ.
- Establish relationships with senior level (CXO, Sr. Director, etc.) automotive and manufacturing leaders at our customers.
