Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sale of products/systems/services within a designated segment, in line with the industry segment strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the assigned segment. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings/Smart Power Business, based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSelling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned segments.•\tEstablishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.•\tPerforming regular status reviews and proposing recovery plans, in case of any potential order shortfalls.•\tCreating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers while identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.•\tPreparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.•\tEnsuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.•\tCommunicating to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
Qualifications for the role\tBachelor’s degree preferable in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.\tMore than 5 years of experience in electrical /automation industry with strong network within Semiconductor, F&B or Factory segment.\tBroad understanding on end user and segment approach and ability to work across function and team.\tExcellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally.\tWilling to travel 30%.
