Job Description

Job Duties

Lead sub-projects to industrialize EB products with internal and external manufacturers and suppliers.Lead the industrialization team of engineers from domains HW, ME and production testing.Manage industrialization projects (pre-SOP) and series products (post-SOP) to be on-time, on-spec, on-budget.

Main tasks relevant

Industrialization phase (pre-SOP)

Plan and manage all technical production aspects in the Bosch project team.Plan and manage all project related activities with production related aspects with the respective internal and external partners (EMS).Coordinate and review manufacturing process development activities.Conducts technical reviews and quality assessments with internal and external partners (EMS).Coordinates sample build activities including material availability.Monitor and evaluate sample builds and plan and implement improvements in production processes.Plan and coordinate “safe launch” activities for SOP, ensure product ramp-up and ramp-up qualification.

Mass production and maintenance

Plan and manage the tasks and activities to maintain the product in mass production phase.Plan and coordinate changes (ECR) for running products, i.e. 2nd-source material evaluation, development and process optimization, etc.Conduct and coordinates failure analysis with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure cost, quality and volume targets for the series products. 

Qualifications

Education

Background in science or engineering (HW, mechanics and/or manufacturing), Bachelor or Master.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of work experience in electronics industries and/or electronics manufacturing.Understanding of the product development process  and the lifetime cycle for electronics products.Professional and experienced with project management tools, processes and methods.Proficient communication and language skills (English) to work in international project teams.PMP/PRINCE certification preferred.
