Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Store Assistant Manager 2 position. The Industrial Store Assistant Manager 2 manages all aspects of his/her store in the absence of the Industrial Store Manager and assists the Industrial Store Manager in performing his/her daily tasks.


The primary duty of each Employee Owner is to serve, grow, enhance and protect Norco business. Plans, implements and documents drivers’ meetings and education programsSupervises the testing, evaluating, documentation and maintenance of adequate inventoryEvaluates, documents and rectifies all safety hazards in and around the office and warehouseWorks with store personnel to meet all customer requirementsCommunicates and resolves problems with customersServices walk-in customersAssists in preparing driver routes, logs route changes and driver communication on route sheets as they occurSupports marketing accounts as assigned by the Vice President of the Industrial DivisionResponsible for supporting the store manager in ensuring profit margins are maintained at an acceptable level in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Vice President of the Industrial DivisionReviews profit margin reports, incoming and outgoing statements to support Store Manager expectationsControls store inventory and expensesMay hire, discipline, and terminate staff, as neededMonitors employee performance along with supporting Store Manager in annual performance appraisal processCoordinate staffing schedules, track employee attendance, punctuality, and vacation timeProcess all employee paperwork in a timely mannerCommunicate and enforce all company policies, procedures and safety rulesLead, train, develop and motivate department’s employeesOversee the activities of the department’s employeesPrioritize and delegate job tasks to staff to ensure timely completionPerforms other duties as assigned or neededBuilding and grounds maintenanceFit testing respirators for customersWage $24.00/Hr - $26.00/Hr DOE

Qualifications

Education or Experience Required:

Prior sales and/or management experienceHigh school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
