Summary You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION, within the PROGRAM SUPPORT DEPARTMENT, CODE 820 of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Responsibilities You will serve as a primary point of contact in matters concerning government-owned industrial property assets, and you will be the representative/liaison with other Department of Defense (DOD) Commands, Federal agencies, and contractors. You will monitor perpetual triennial inventories for government-owned industrial property assets are performed in accordance with SECNAV and PSNS and IMF written directives, and procedures. You will perform verification audit reviews to determine the accuracy and reliability of official Government property records established and maintained for tracking accountability. You will prepare property reports and trend analysis of property control activities and maintain control over historical property accountability records. You will be responsible for coordinating the accountability of newly arrived procurements, surveillance, control and disposition of all Government owned accountable plant property assets into the Defense Property Accountablity System. You will review and recommend procedures and action, as necessary, for property control systems and procurement systems for compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Navy Supply (NAVSUP) procurement regulations. You will have access to and working knowledge to the Defense Material Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) to analyze and evaluate proposed industrial property disposal actions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating a property management program at an industrial facility that include monitoring, problem solving, disposition of government property, and providing guidance to users of an asset management system.
