Here at Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul UK facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.
Location: Marston Green Birmingham, UK
Reports to: Indirect Supply Chain Manager
Type: 12 to 13 month contract only
Shift: Core Days - Full time working on-site at location.
Position Summary:
Collins Marston Green seeks an enthusiastic and committed student to complete an industrial placement scheduled to start Summer 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Indirect supplier account reviews with the department managerManage key indirect accounts to ensure continuity of supplySupport cross functional sustainability projects at Collins Aerospace Marston Green Site.Escalate key shortage issues on indirect products and project manage the deliveryProject Management of indirect cost reduction projectsRaise Purchase Orders for Indirect SpendProvide Supplier Support to resolve billing queriesManage the Vendor Onboarding processProvide ad-hoc support to other areas of the Spares, Materials and Supply Chain teamAdhere to technical and export regulation as per required complianceEnsure strict adherence to company process and proceduresEssential Skills and Qualifications:
This position is for an Industrial Placement only - as part of a recognized degree discipline.I.T and Data Analysis, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point).Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environmentDesirable Criteria:
Enthusiastic about working in a multinational aerospace business.Knowledge of SAP system would be advantageous.Data Analysis, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point).Understanding of problem solving.Good interpersonal skills.Get up and go attitude.How to apply:
