Job Title: Industrial Painter

Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm

Job Description

The 2nd Shift Painter will be a Utility Worker on 2nd Shift who supports all areas and functions of the operation. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, positioning structural steel throughout the facility, industrial blasting, painting steel beams according to work orders, and setting up and operating structural steel and plate fabrication equipment.

ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks and position structural steel throughout the facilityPerform industrial blasting and painting of steel beams as per work ordersSet up and operate structural steel and plate fabrication equipment including plasma, burn table, and CNC sawUse a tape measure to 1/32\" accuracyOperate overhead cranesSupport structural and miscellaneous departmentsEssential SkillsExperience as a machine operatorKnowledge of CNC and fabrication processesAbility to read blueprintsProficiency in measuring with a tape measure to 1/32\" accuracyExperience operating overhead cranesExperience in structural steelAdditional Skills & QualificationsMechanically inclinedIndustrial painting experience is a major plus (willing to train)Fabrication machine operating experience

Work Environment

The shift runs Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm, with potential hours extending as late as 1 am, and some Saturdays during the busiest seasons.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00
