Industrial Mechanic
Job Title: Industrial Mechanic - Projects Division Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Projects team as an Industrial Mechanic to support customers in Roanoke and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers. Responsibilities: + Experience completing mechanical projects within a manufacturing/industrial setting + Experience in structural and pipe welding. Knowledge and experience in stainless steel pipe/tubing welding a plus. + Experience in structural and pipe fitting. + Fabrication of parts and materials experience a plus. + Light rigging and millwright experience a plus. + Able to use hands to control tools and materials while being able to lift up to 85 pounds. + Able to work from high locations from ladders, lifts, and/or scaffolding + Able to work in cramped, awkward, and/or confined spaces while kneeling, bending, crouching, or stooping for prolonged periods of time. Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Vocational school or prior training preferred. + Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts. + Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills. + Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. + Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. + Commitment to safety and following established protocols. + Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
