Job Title: Industrial Mechanic - Projects Division\n
Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Projects team as an Industrial Mechanic to support customers in Roanoke and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nExperience completing mechanical projects within a manufacturing\/industrial setting\nExperience in structural and pipe welding. Knowledge and experience in stainless steel pipe\/tubing welding a plus.\nExperience in structural and pipe fitting.\nFabrication of parts and materials experience a plus.\nLight rigging and millwright experience a plus.\nAble to use hands to control tools and materials while being able to lift up to 85 pounds.\nAble to work from high locations from ladders, lifts, and\/or scaffolding\nAble to work in cramped, awkward, and\/or confined spaces while kneeling, bending, crouching, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.\n\n
Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nVocational school or prior training preferred.\nBasic understanding of trade principles and concepts.\nStrong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.\nGood physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to safety and following established protocols.\nPre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.\n\n
