First shift:6am-2:30pm
Monday- Friday
$30 plus (Depending on Experience)
Key Responsibilities: Perform daily and weekly checks to maintain seamless site operations. Manage of team of 2 to 5 employees. Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule, ensuring timely maintenance and addressing missed activities effectively. Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of extrusions and other lines Oversee routine calibration and maintenance of extrusion and other production lines. Manage mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime and costs. Ensure all buildings, equipment, and facilities meet operational requirements and provide proactive solutions when needed. Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up to specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with relevant parties (including internal departments) Prepare reports and presentations, including training materials. Continuously seek training and development opportunities. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. Provide technical expertise and support to the team. Manage contractors to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a safe work environment. Uphold corporate personnel policies and performance management practices. Motivate and guide team members to achieve their full potential. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: 7-10 years of Maintenance supervisory experience in a Manufacturing facility Required Skills: Ability to read and write PLC programs using Siemens software and working knowledge of motor controls. Workable understanding of 120, 230 and 480 AC volts electrical systems. Experience repairing mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatics commonly used and in a manufacturing environment preferably on high-speed presses. Strong background in developing and maintaining Preventive Maintenance programs. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and machine guarding. Ability to operate company vehicles, including trucks, forklifts, and other machinery. Experience with production equipment such as high-speed presses, punch presses, lathes, and milling machines. Must be able to work on electrical wiring projects, plumbing and pipe fitting, drills and boilers. Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills. Collaborative team player with the ability to work across various levels of personnel. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose and implement process improvements. Performance Metrics: Minimized machine downtime due to maintenance issues. Machine availability maintained above 90%. Reduction in maintenance-related expenses. Compliance with company HR requirements. Work Environment & Conditions: Work is primarily conducted in an production facility, with occasional work in the office and other areas throughout the facility. Regular physical activity, including walking, talking, hearing, and using hands for tasks. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Standing, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crawling may be required. This is an on-site role; remote work is not currently an option. Summary
