Industrial Maintenance 2nd Shift

“A” Maintenance provides general facility/production equipment maintenance and repair.  They support other maintenance associates in their day to day activities Preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance of assigned equipment. Assemble, trouble shoot or repair equipment; pushing heavy carts and dollies; lifting of moderately heavy objects, no limit on weight, but must use good judgment on how things are moved. “A” Maintenance should have the ability to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and climate conditions.  While being able to be in regularly contact with and exposed to dust, dirt, grease, grime, and usual shop condition; general proficiency in the following skills-Hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics. Must be mechanically inclined; sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity to perform all required tasks.

 

Responsibilities: 

Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings. Troubleshooting and repair of machine controllers. Troubleshooting molding machine and auxiliary equipment problems. Preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance of assigned equipment. Record keeping of PM and repairs performed. Use prints, operating manuals, sketches, and diagrams to dismantle, assemble, trouble shoot or repair equipment. Communicate with OEM service representatives to aid in part ordering and problem solving. Work in a safe and conscious manner. Watch for and report/repair safety hazards immediately. Report needs or maintenance and supplies. Communicate equipment problems or unfinished jobs to next shift of maintenance and production supervisor. Skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment required to perform. Perform other duties as assigned.
