JOB PURPOSE
Key focus will be on deployment of UMS program and proper application of improvement methodology.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Complete all learnership requirements as stipulated by Unilever, including but limited to training attendance, assessments completion, project completion, logbook completion and presentations as needed
The purpose of the role is to drive process efficiency across all performance areas of the site in alignment with its Master plan strategic priorities and needs.
Key focus will be on deployment of UMS program and proper application of improvement methodology; delivery of Foundation and when relevant UMS Advanced Tier agenda across all the pillars; capability building of R2S cell leadership team and UMS pillar teams (improvement methods & tools).
Manage the roll out of UMS program in the site & support pillars with their improvement plans, governance & gap analysis.
Site performance data reporting & management of data systems.
Data analysis & trend identification for improvement.
She/he will support on governance of the sites cost savings program.
Working directly with project leads, tracking progress of actions & delivery of savings.
Follow SOP procedures as needed within the operation assigned to
Conform to all site rules governing safety of self and others, quality and code of business principles
Key requirements
Essential:
Completed Degree in Industrial Engineering
Use of computer software programs – Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word is essential
Good communication skills both written and verbal – proficient in English
