Assist the Industrial Engineering department in successfully achieving manufacturing goals and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. The Industrial Engineer Intern will receive assignments from the Manager of Manufacturing, or an assigned representative, and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and suggestions.

Support production processesSupport processes with troubleshoot automationAble to develop work instructionsEngage employees to problem solve issuesPerform time studiesPerform workstation/cell analyses to improve productivity and qualityManage project work assigned by the managerProvide input for manufacturing fixtures and toolingAssist with plant layout and workstation designLearn and use ERP (JDE) manufacturing softwareInterests will include manufacturing, welding, robotics, and fabricationAll other duties or projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or other related Engineering fieldGraduation date of May 2026 or laterWilling to travel or relocate to Spartanburg, SC for the Summer of 2025 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Spartanburg, SC).
