Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Job Description
Drive development and/or installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods. Track labor, RTO's, off standards, efficiencies, and generate presentations to request labor authorizations. Conduct job ergonomics evaluations, support workstation and packaging design reviews, analyze process constraints, and conduct equipment cycle time analysis. Provide input to constraint decks and actively support constraint working-meetings and leadership report outs. Analyze plant work methods and standards and recommend improvements/efficiencies.
Responsibilities
+ Support cost estimates of new or revised methods and standards.
+ Review proposed changes in plant layout, processes, material handling, routing, etc., and make recommendations.
+ Conduct time and motion/MODAPTS/GSPAS studies and review employee proposals and suggestions.
+ Ensure work processes are correctly documented in APT/time studies, especially when changes take place.
+ Develop headcount maps for current and future models.
+ Lead job methodization and process allocations.
+ Interface with Production Supervision and the UAW to help work through concerns.
+ Report out over-cycles and document plans for cycle time improvement.
+ Report out line efficiencies and HPU (Uptime, JPH).
+ Lead and/or support glidepath file updating.
+ Prepare input for annual budget; support manning/RTO and capacity/demand forecasts.
+ Help maintain capacity planning documents - capacity strategy, capacity statement, volume worksheets.
+ Support preparation of Launch budget and launch curve during Plant Led Launches.
+ Support ergo, headcount, and rate of climb JPH assessments.
+ Support Benchmarking and other special assignments as requested.
+ Pull together cross functional teams when working on more complex projects.
+ Be a positive leader and change agent, embodying Our Client OS behaviors.

Work Environment
Work primarily at Sterling Axle Plant with mostly or entirely straight time and little or no overtime expected.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.52 - $37.00
