Primary Function

The Industrial Electrician will troubleshoot and repair electrical components on industrial equipment at our Ashland City manufacturing facility, as well as perform electrical tasks on all equipment and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.  The Industrial Electrician will use their general knowledge and abilities to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Regularly Scheduled Hours:  1st Shift, Monday - Friday

 

Hourly Rate of Pay: Depends on experience as an Industrial Electrician

 

Sign On Bonus Opportunity:  $1500 ($500 after 3 months, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 12 months - must not be on a corrective action for attendance)

Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; completion of trade school or related degree preferred 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment Good written/verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and SAP

 

Additional Qualifications  Knowledge of machine functions, equipment safety hazards, LOTO, power source, stored energy, pinch points, ect. Understanding of control circuitry on all levels, such as burner controls, VFD’s, and DC drives. Understanding of machine function logic and ability to troubleshoot various PLC type programming. Competent ability to read electrical blueprints, drawings and sketches Knowledge of NEC code, ability to run conduit both Ridged and EMT Must make logical decisions and perform well under pressure Must demonstrate strong customer service support Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical a plus ADA Statement & EEO Statement
