Industrial Electrician

Mueller Water Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and marketer of products and services used in the transmission, distribution and measurement of water in North America. Our broad product and services portfolio includes engineered valves, fire hydrants, metering products and systems, leak detection and pipe condition assessment. We currently seek 2nd shift Electricians working Monday through Friday 3pm - 11:30pm plus overtime as scheduled. We are paying a $10,000 sign on bonus for this role.

Required Skills:

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints and manuals.Install and maintains electrical equipment, power distribution, lighting, signals and alarms.Trouble shoot and maintain relay logic circuits, starters, motors, electrical metering devices and electrical measuring devises.Fabricates and install metallic and non metallic conduit, buss duct and wire raceway.Design and build various control panels.Draw schematics.Lubricates electrical motors.Use multimeters, meggers, amp probes, oscilloscope, signal generators and other electrical/electronic test equipment in the performance of their duties.Update and maintain knowledge of National Electrical Code.Troubleshoot and repair various electronic controls and circuits.Repair circuit boards and electronic components as needed.Trouble shoot and repair programmable controllers, NC, CNC, radio controlled devised and DNC machine tools and equipment.Contain and clean up hazardous materials.Adapt new methods and procedures as required.Assist other skilled classifications as needed.Perform predictive maintenance checks.Operate production and non-production equipment and machine tools as required in the performance of their duties.Perform preventive maintenance inspections, repairs and adjustments.Prepare written predictive maintenance and preventive maintenance reports in performance of duties.Instruct trainees when necessary.Requisition replacement parts and materials.Participate in additional training as related to their work.Stock parts and materials needed in performance of their duties.Operate material handling equipment and man lifts as instructed in the Plant Safety Rules and according to OSHA standards.Maintain equipment and working area in a clean and orderly manner.Perform Electrician “A” work as needed.Perform all duties in the highest standard of productivity and quality.Required four years verifiable experience in a manufacturing environment.
