At Amaris Consulting, we are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Industrial Buyer to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial buying or procurement, who are ready to take on the challenge of managing procurement activities related to production materials and components. Located in the heart of Belgium, this position offers an Undetermined Duration Contract, providing a unique opportunity for career growth in a vibrant and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the seamless supply of quality goods, all while aligning procurement strategies with our production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities Manage procurement activities related to production materials and components. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers. Monitor market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to align procurement strategies with production needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

As an Industrial Buyer at Amaris Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in the efficiency and success of our production processes, contributing directly to the growth and excellence of our operations.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate for the Industrial Buyer position should possess a strong foundation in procurement practices, coupled with the ability to negotiate effectively and communicate clearly. A relevant Master's degree and fluency in both English and French are essential for this role. If you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, it will be considered a significant bonus. Your ability to work collaboratively, coupled with your analytical skills, will ensure your success and advancement within our company.

Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial buying or procurement role. Fluent in both English and French. Relevant Master’s degree in a related field. A degree in Mechanical Engineering would be a bonus. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
