We are currently seeking a Temporary Position for Capital Expenses, including Production/Facilities Equipment and Construction.  This individual’s role will be focused on reviewing contracts and driving value, efficiency, and savings based on Schneider Electric’s digitization goals and business priorities.  This role will be a part of the North America Regional sourcing team within the Indirect Procurement organization.   

 

Desired location for this role is Monterrey, MX or Mexico City, MX and the role will report to the North America Region Indirect Procurement Director.

 

Essential Responsibilities

 

Responsible to perform indirect procurement strategic sourcing productivity actions in support of NAM strategic priorities. Deliver minimum of 6% savings for assigned scope, which positively impact SE’s bottom line.Drive compliance to global category strategies and strategic vendors, with a focus on key NAM stakeholders to identify and implement productivity actions in line with regional business goalsBuild close working relationship with NAM stakeholders and propose changes to optimize and reduce our spendDevelop competitive bidding packages, launch RFI/RFQ/RFP through SE tools, effectively negotiate with vendors for best in class pricing, and negotiate strong contracts (MSAs, SOWs etc) in collaboration with legalManage supplier performance, including but not limited to supplier business reviews, managing escalations, monitoring operational KPI's to meet SE objectivesDelivers high level of customer service with critical stakeholder groups within Global Supply Chain to ensure the program meets critical business needs.Proficient in purchasing tools (OTTO, PRISM, SSP-SRM) and associated processesSupport critical company initiatives including Improvement Payment terms, Sustainability, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, ISO26000, etc
