Description A respected Hospitality Company in Carlsbad is hiring an Income Audit/Payroll Clerk to manage the income audit process and assist with payroll processing. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a solid accounting or payroll background. Key Responsibilities: + Audit daily income statements and reconcile recorded revenue with financial records. + Monitor and verify revenue transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. + Assist in processing payroll, including timekeeping records and employee adjustments. + Reconcile discrepancies between payroll reports and audited income data. + Prepare weekly and monthly income audit and payroll reports. + Collaborate with the accounting and HR departments to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies. + Ensure compliance with wage reporting and labor law standards. Requirements + 2+ years of experience in income auditing, payroll processing, or similar accounting roles within the hospitality industry. + Strong familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity) and property management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS). + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy. + High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
