The Group Protection and Resilience team is committed to ensuring that Allianz Group is able to withstand and recover from disruptions to its business operations. For our central team at Allianz headquarters, we are looking for an Incident and Crisis Management Expert with strong project management skills and a profound background in assessing and analyzing complex and multi-faceted incidents. You will

Coordinate cross-functional assessments of IT and non-IT incidents, with a focus especially on incidents assessed as “high” and “critical” and major ICT-related incidents. Ensure relevant stakeholder involvement in incident assessment and response, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent incident handling and reporting processes; Support drafting and execution of regulatory reports and internal communications. Monitor and produce stakeholder-centric reports on incidents, including relevant data aggregation and visualization; Actively foster sharing and exchange of information on incident management with other safeguarding functions and within the Group, including conducting awareness activities and trainings;    Actively support DORA implementation to reach an integrated incident management approach; Together with our crisis management experts, you enhance, shape and support Crisis Management implementation and crisis management exercises; Working within and supporting the Group Crisis Unit during a crisis event; Support the OEs (Operational Entity) to improve their crisis readiness and maturity via their local crisis management programs; Support systematic monitoring during OE review and self-assessment tasks; Act as back-up for other Protection & Resilience experts to mitigate key person risk.

 

Your skills

Qualifications:

Relevant University degree or equivalent qualification through work experience Knowledge of relevant internationals standards, professional certifications are desirable Sound MS Office skills English skills (fluent written and spoken) are mandatory and additional language skills are welcome

 

Experience & Key Skills:

Previous experience in incident or crisis management, including experience in analyzing incidents from a technical and/or business perspective; At least 5 years of working/consulting experience, with business analysis  responsibility.

 

Other requirements:

Reliable, highly committed, precise working and independent thinking Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to analyze threats and incidents and determine the associated business impact. Capability to build collaborative working relationships and ability to work in virtual, international and complex team environments; Strong communicator who is comfortable presenting and facilitating trainings in front of an audience. Willingness to participate in the incident monitoring process, including team rotation for incident monitoring over weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Ability to work self-responsibly and autonomously, also at times of high pressure Some international travel will be required.
