Incentive Compensation Sr Analyst

The Senior Analyst, Incentive Compensation will provide analytical support for the design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of incentive compensation plans, including the development and deployment of sales goals and quotas. This role involves delivering monthly/quarterly results and ranking reports to management and field sales teams, while addressing inquiries as needed. The Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline workflows, ensure proper data integration, and establish best practices for managing incentive compensation processes in-house. Additionally, the role will focus on improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of incentive compensation functions through the development of internal processes and tools and will provide training and support to internal teams on new systems, processes, and data management practices.

•    Analytical support of the design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of incentive compensation plans, reports, and results including development and deployment of goals/quotas; identifies and leverages opportunities to enhance planning and reporting processes
•    Provides management and field sales teams with monthly/quarterly results information, including ranking reports; answers inquiries from the field as needed 
•    Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline workflows, ensure proper data integration, and establish best practices for managing incentive compensation processes in-house
•    Help develop internal processes and tools to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of incentive compensation functions
•    Provide training and support to internal teams on new systems, processes, and data management practices related to incentive compensation


 

Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. 

 

Education/Certification/Experience:
•    Bachelor's degree in business/engineering/data science or a STEM related discipline 
•    3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of roles, sales operations, IT, and other analytical roles preferred but not required.
•    1+ years of financial/operational analytic experience

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
•    Strong Excel and SQL database skills are required, including the ability to extract information from a data warehouse using SQL or other extraction/reporting tools.
•    Experience with languages such as SAS, R, or Python is a plus, but not required.
•    Strong analysis/quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks
•    Develop mathematical/financial models to solve complex analytical challenges and optimize incentive compensation structures
•    Work effectively across functions as a team player to achieve common goals without hierarchy, politics or self-interest.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 10% domestic travel throughout the US.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Occasional:
•    Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity:
•    Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

•    May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
