P&G utilizes a diverse network of suppliers that we partner with in order to purchase the proper materials that are needed to manufacture our products. The NATO Inbound Transportation Team is tasked with ensuring the transportation of those materials to our sites is driven efficiently with the most cost-effective options.
Inbound Transportation Leaders:Participate in processes focused on driving compliance, governance, performance, and cost with both internal and external business partners.This is a non-exempt, non-management positionCollaborate with multifunctional teams to facilitate the proper execution of processes related to lane design, carrier sourcing and performance, cost management, and 3rd Party Logistics action planning.Inform the carrier base of the North American standards, along with the processes for their individual categories and suppliers.Job Qualifications
Education:Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education, however, a two or four-year college degree or equivalent administrative experience is helpful.Requirements (skills/experiences) for the role:3-5 years of experience.Ability to develop high level knowledge and understanding of the processes driven in the Inbound transportation network.Ability to effectively communicate with resources both internally and externally.Ability to analyze data, identify gaps/opportunities, implement root cause analysis, develop action planning, and drive resolutions.Ability to navigate and apply various systems and tools used on the Inbound team (following proper training).Ability to identify supply chain inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities to drive cost savings.Ability to support a daily flow of emails and help requests, along with strong task management skills.Just So You Know:All will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, citizenship, HIV/AIDS status or any other legally protected factor.
Starting Pay / Salary Range: $66,800 - $92,700Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skills, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
