Inbound Planner - Packaging

The Assistant Planner manages inventory control and packaging required for the production processes and ensures that the resources required to make products are in stock and available. Works within the business cost, quantity and quality constraints to plan the flow of supplies. Works with Purchasing department to procure materials and with the Production Planner to maintain the Production schedule. The position involves visiting Vendor’s sites from time to time. Supplier constraints can affect working capital

Activities

Key Responsibilities include:

Ordering of Packaging :Local SupplyRequisition resource (Local sourced packaging through the purchasing department and monitors scheduled deliveries from vendor to ensure a smooth-running productionExpedites materials from vendor when they are delays in deliveryManage stock levels for all local packagingSupplies FC to suppliers for all local packing 


Working Capital Management:

Conduct monthly stock counts and reconciliation as per Total’s business rule

To continuously manage and reduce working capital by optimizing the MRP Tool while and not compromising customer service

Submit monthly Forecasts on all local and packaging to suppliers


HSEQ:

Ensure that all LMP Purchases conforms IsssR’s requirements (Elements 12)Ensures that all NCR raised by the Quality Manager is completed and submitted to TotalReport all near misses incident ,unsafe acts and conditions


Governance:

To Ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset management for area responsibility

As an Inbound Planner,  you would possess the following: 

Diploma in Purchasing and Materials Management or equivalentMinimum 1-2 years in Procurement or Materials Planning role within the oil industryStrong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelGood Analytical and problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through. Good business acumenGood negotiation skills, Supervisory skills, Proven team player and ability to prioritize and work in tight deadlines in a high energy and fast – paced environmentWorking knowledge of MRP and Production lead-time. Fully experienced in ERP manufacturing system (MPS/MRP/BOMs/Routing/etc). SAP experience advantageousAbove average computer skills in ERP system, Microsoft Excel, MS Word, Power pointGood communication, presentation and negotiation skills (Suppliers, contractors on costs and delivery)High levels of Analytical thinking & ability to work under pressureWorking Knowledge of ONE MAESTRO,ISO 9001 & ISO 14001Working Knowledge of purchasing and logistics functions Additional Information TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual growth and offers equal opportunity careers.
