**Job Description**
DEVELOP AND EXECUTE A COMPREHENSIVE BUSINESS PLAN
- Lead business plan/tactics to reach overall global targets on a day-to-day basis
- Lead global teams in all Regions in developing commodity strategies and sourcing recommendations for specified commodity, considering regional specifics. This also includes early Supplier Engagement and Strategic Sourcing
- Oversee, monitor and coach employees in different locations and build effective global team
- Collaborate with Engineering, CCA and other internal partners to clarify prerequisites and to drive cost reduction
OPTIMIZE SUPPLIER FOOTPRINT
- Analyze and apply appropriate tools, i.e. cost models, benchmarking, global competitive sourcing, value chain analysis, supplier negotiations, engineering change cost containment, technical cost reduction, part/system reuse, etc.
HANDLE SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS AND OPERATIONAL ISSUES
**Additional Job Description**
**Education/Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Purchasing, or related field required
+ english should be fluent
+ Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, not including internships and co-ops
+ Project management skills and proven experience leading projects
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with other cross-functional areas such as Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing & Supply chain.
+ Ability to drive long-term projects through to completion.
+ Ability to travel 2-3 times a quarter within MX and US.
**Knowledge:**
+ Data visualization (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
+ Supply base
+ Budget Management
+ logistics background
This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis. A company Vehicle will be provided for this role with successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review.
