Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focus on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Responsibilities:
A broad role typically entails our resources adopting a problem-solving approach to solve important client problems and extend support in monitoring/managing large projects; involving the following responsibilities:
End-to-end IT infrastructure management for complex projects.Evaluation of all existing infrastructure options as a solution to cater to project requirements. Assess open-source solutions and technology and recommend adoption in planned infrastructure systems.Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to assist in defining technology direction.Conduct feasibility assessments and roadmap definitions for the future state of IT infrastructure.Design technical requirements for the tender for selection of System Integrator and project manage the development of IT infrastructure.Appropriate integration of enterprise architecture principles in design.Review the IT Infrastructure design and implementation (including system capacity planning, integration, and performance tuning)Review the architecture for IT infrastructure and suggest improvementsStudy and define various integration mechanisms of existing infrastructure solutions.Manage data center (DC) operations, including enterprise-class servers, virtualization, and enterprise storage (SAN/NAS).Disaster planning and recovery strategies for IT infrastructure.Mandatory skill sets:
Managing Data Center Operations and Enterprise Infrastructure systems in an on-premises setup.IT infrastructure design and management, including capacity planning, integration, performance tuning, and disaster planning.End-to-End Data Center Infrastructure management for complex projectsPreferred skill sets:
Hands on experience in latest data center technologies and state-of-the-art Data Centre is preferredStrong knowledge of infrastructure conceptsYears of experience required:
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design and management, including capacity planning, integration, performance tuning, and disaster planning.Experience of Government Data Centre project is preferredEducation qualification:
Full-Time - B.E./ B.Tech./ MCA/ MBAAny industry standard Cloud Certification, like, AWS/ GCP/ CCCP, etc.Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified)
