In service management at PwC, you will focus on overseeing and confirming the delivery of quality and timely services. You will monitor vendor compliance with contractual agreements for service quality, availability, and reliability, manage the business and delivery of services, and lead service recovery in case of major incidents
Responsibilities:

Provide Software Asset Management (SAM) expertise to cross-functional teams, including technical resources, external advisors, and contractors. Implement and operate Flexera. Drive operational and contract software cost avoidance and savings. Leverage experience with ITIL. Highlight expertise in IT sourcing and procurement lifecycle, software and supplier licensing models, and the interpretation and negotiation of software licensing terms and policies. Build and maintain relationships across various functions and organizational levels, engaging other teams for cross-functional efforts. Focus on process improvement and project management. Engage in analysis and problem-solving. Implement and execute global SAM policies, processes, and industry best practices. Establish SAM system operations, enhancements, data integrity, and resolve data anomalies and inconsistencies. Manage SaaS products, including deployment and entitlement rights of software licensed by organization to it's different territory members. Support and track the internal allocation of licenses and their costs. Identify opportunities for efficient use and improved procurement of software across the PwC Network. Assess PwC’s license position and usage, supporting IT actions such as optimization, standardization, and sunset efforts, along with readiness for true-up/certification milestones. Partner with Global License Services Center (GLSC) and Procurement to consolidate IT purchases and rationalize the supply base. Respond to audit risks and software compliance obligations. Align member firm SAM resources, efforts, and stakeholders with ongoing engagement and adoption of Global SAM services. Provide foundational input and support for the global SAM center of excellence, optimizing the value of IT assets and improving compliance. Advise leaders, member firms, and stakeholders on actionable opportunities identified through SAM analyses to guide strategic decision-making through implementation and benefits realization. Execute tasks to report on relevant software metrics and analyses. Assimilate information from multiple sources to recommend decisions and clear strategies amidst ambiguity. Model and cultivate a team culture of ownership, execution, and continuous learning and improvement.Mandatory skill sets:
Demonstrated experience in SAM auditing or consulting, tools, and industry-leading practices, integrating SAM workflows with IT, Procurement, and Contract Management functions. Experience in IT, IT Procurement, software licensing, IT Service Management or Delivery, and/or SAM. Knowledge of enterprise software license agreements, including perpetual, subscription, and cloud models, and supplier licensing terms and conditions with vendors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, VMware, etc. Experience with budgets, financials, service development, and measuring and reporting software business value metrics.Certification (CSAM, BSA Verafarm, Flexera One etc.) on Software Asset Management is mandatoryPreferred skill sets:
Knowledge of the enterprise IT marketplace and supplier trends. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills. Proficient in analysis and problem-solving. Demonstrated leadership, management, and coaching skills. Advanced Excel and data analytics skills. Proficient in using MS Office, SharePoint, IBM Notes, database structures, business intelligence tools, and SAM platforms such as Flexera.Years of experience required:
