Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** + Ensure the proper functioning of the inventory control system (Anexo 24). + Implement controls and improvements to meet legal compliance. + Coordinate temporary and/or permanent importation of materials. + Classify part numbers accurately to reduce tariff and tax costs. + Coordinate the exportation of finished products, raw materials, machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts. + Ensure timely delivery compliance. + Direct and coordinate all import and export operations. + Ensure compliance with laws and regulations. + Validate the accurate preparation of documents required for commercial transactions, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. + Ensure any other required documents are prepared accurately + Identify and mitigate any risks associated with international trade operations. + Stay updated on regulatory changes applicable to the business. + Ensure all operations are align with customs and international trade laws and regulations. + Lead and develop the Import/Export team. + Implement / Complete any administrative processes required by the organization. **YOU HAVE:** + University degree in business/commerce, statistics, computer science, economics, finance or mathematics is a must. + 6+YEO as IE Supervisor / Manager. + Fully bilingual. + Excellent written and verbal communication ensuring professional to all internal and external customers. + Proven understanding in Mexican customs law and legal customs arrangements. + Extensive knowledge of Customs Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade, Foreign Trade Law and similar provisions. + Experience with ERP systems of the Maquiladora Industry. + Solid understanding of materials planning, procurement, inventory control, and warehouse management principles. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Familiarity with transportation and international trade regulations. **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + At nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
