As a member of the Cellasto Wyandotte team, you will support daily operations and tool changes on the moldlines. You will play a key role in ensuring that quality products are manufactured safely, in an environmentally sound manner, efficiently, and on time.
During your 8-hour day shift as a Impact Technician I, you will Understand the total concept of the Cellasto process to meet customer requirements and be able to interact and communicate with Visual, Planning, Impact, Maintenance and Reactor Room Departments in the Cellasto Plant.Form harmonious relationships with intradepartmental teammates as well as interdepartmental teammatesWork independently with minimal supervision & Mentor junior techniciansTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues and report problems as needed to SupervisionEasily adjust to changing priorities and dynamic workloadsUnderstand the tool development process, Moldline set-up and propose optimizationsSafely operate small machining equipment such as drill press, lathe, angle grinder, bench grinder, chop saw etc. (i.e. Diagnose and repair Conventional and Heidel molds and carriages)Work with various hand tools, electric pallet jacks and pneumatic toolsIf you...Possess a High School diploma or GEDHave knowledge and at least 2 years of experience in molding technologyHave 2+ years of Moldline experience Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in discrete manufacturingPossess mechanical skills such as welding and small machining operations (preferred).Are experienced with mechanical drawings and technical writing (preferred)Are proficient with measurement devices like gauges and rulesAre proficient in the use of Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PROMPT, and CDB (preferred)Are able to lift 50 lbsCreate your own chemistry with you@BASF
