Immunology Marketing Lead

Eli Lilly Canada is currently searching for a capable commercial leader for our Immunology business in Canada with the goal to improve patient outcomes for patients in Canada living with immune-mediated diseases. The immunology business is experiencing an exciting time of growth, with three launches over the last year and an additional launch in GI during 2025. The Immunology marketing lead will provide strategic and executional leadership for marketing across the current and future immunology portfolio; specifically, across Gastroenterology, Dermatology, and Rheumatology. This role will be accountable for brand performance & execution across commercial channels and the development of their people. You will need to have a passion for raising the bar for execution, challenge current ways of operating, and lead and inspire those around you to deliver results while working very closely with our sales leaders.

Travel and On-Site Expectations:

This role requires the ability to travel across Canada, with approximately 30% of your time spent on the road engaging with customers and stakeholders.

When not traveling, we value in-person collaboration and connection.

Candidates should expect to be in the office at least 2-3 days per week, or approximately 8+ days per month, depending on business needs. This flexible, hybrid approach allows for a balance between on-site presence and the demands of the role.

 
Specifically the Immunology marketing Lead will be responsible for:

Delivering brand performance and achieving business results for currently marketed products: Taltz & OlumiantAccelerate launches in Immunology for lebrikizumab in AD, mirikizumab in UC, and deliver and outstanding launch in 2025 for mirikizumab CD.Maximizing the impact of our National Engagement Manager for CanadaCoach brand managers to pair deep customer insights with next-level execution; challenging current standards and improving our impact & performance.Provide appropriate leadership and coaching through the customer planning process and operational plan for pre & post NOC activities.Actively engage external customers & stakeholders to understand customer insights, brand performance; while building relationships with key customers.Lead, motivate, inspire our sales team to deliver outstanding results and value to our customers through next-level execution and value-based interactions.Managing commercial brand budget and P&L for immunologyCoach and assist brand marketing to reinforce & change beliefs across channels from sales force to digital.Provide input into the PRA planning and implementation process as we seek reimbursementEnsuring that our commercial activities are planned and implemented in accordance with current compliance environmentWork closely with sales leadership to maximize our sales team impact.

Qualifications and Experience

University degreeDemonstrated experience in product launchesAbility to persevere despite obstacles and challengesDemonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams – sales, medical, reimbursement & other departments.Demonstrated thought leader engagement over time.Demonstrated creativity in problem solving and customer solutionsPrefer skill and knowledge of digital communications and channelsPrefer experience in Immunology & commercializing a product in a highly competitive therapeutic areaPrevious leadership experience required & track record of delivering results through others
