Overview The supervisor of Imaging Services is responsible for the oversight and day to day operations of the Imaging Services. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to assure the optimum outcomes are achieved within the department concerning excellent patient care, good communications with patients and families, physicians and their office staff as well as all other customers. Responsible for staffing coordination of the department according to all applicable laws, accrediting agencies and policies and procedures of Conway Regional Medical Center. Must be familiar with all phases of operation of the department and ensure excellent image quality for all populations including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Must be familiar with the operating budget and work together with the director to maintain all expenses within budgetary guidelines. Must possess excellent verbal, written and computer skills. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. Qualifications ARRT registered 5 years experience working in a hospital department 2 years supervisory experience CPR certified Previous computer experience Knowledge of JCAHO and Arkansas Department of Health requirements Experience with Meditech Information system
