Production Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to implement industrial engineering management onsite. To integrate production technology with management, continuously improve the people, equipment, materials, methods, and environment on the production site. Eliminate waste, improve production efficiency, and optimize product quality and economic benefits through optimization of layout and allocation, standardization of work content, synchronization of production.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification business area.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tResponsible for the design and planning of sheet metal, welding production lines to ensure an efficient and safe production environment.•\tResponsible for optimizing processes and layouts in the sheet metal and welding areas during new product introduction to ensure mass production of new products•\tResponsible for the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) of materials in production line and optimizing the storage methods of line-side materials•\tResponsible for evaluating and implementing suggestions and safety improvement requirements.•\tResponsible for the implementation of 6S activities and corrective actions•\tAnalyze production data, propose improvement measures or automation solutions to enhance production efficiency and product quality•\tlead optimization projects in the sheet metal and welding areas to achieve cost-saving targets•\tUse advanced simulation software to conduct production line simulations, predict and resolve potential production bottlenecks, and determine optimal production methods•\tResponsible for other temporarily tasks
Qualifications for the role\tBachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related field.\tMinimum of 2 years of experience as an IE Engineer, sheet metal and welding fields is preferred.\tProject experience of production line.\tFamiliar with production line design and simulation tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Flexsim, etc.\tStrong data analysis skill, make data-driven decisions.\tProject management skills, ability to independently drive optimization projects and achieve goals.\tUnderstanding of lean production and Six Sigma principles is preferred.\tFluent English in reading and writing.\tGood communication, execution and teamwork skills.\tStrong problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.\tAbility to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
