The IDCS Technical Account Manager I is responsible for orchestrating a best in class customer experience for Integrated Data Center Solution Projects. This role requires the coordination of resources across multiple SHI departments – Sales, Operations, Finance, etc; Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Partners; and various customer points of contact in IT, Project Management, Engineering, sales, etc.
This position reports to the IDCS Director of Technical Strategy, Regional Solutions Manager, or Solutions Director. This position is a remote position.

Understand the customers’ revenue stream and operating business models and underlying infrastructure requirementsExecute SHI sales methodology for New Buying Accounts (NBA) and new Lines of Business (LOB) acquisitionFamiliarity with and development of customer Architecture and Infrastructure StandardsAssist customers in deployment optimization utilizing resources to provide technical scoping, supply chain management, integration, and professional servicesExecute Onboarding and Ongoing Customer Management PlansDevelop, advise, create, and Quality Check(QC) integration project build documentation for customer projects – e.g Onboarding documentation, workbooks, etcDevelop, advise, and create customer standards incorporating technical, financial, supply chain, and logistical factorsIntimate understanding of SHIs Ridge facility and ability to give tours to customers, partners, and employees.Scope solutions per customer requirements, create documentation required for solution delivery, and provide solution proposals and pricing to sales and/or customers.Create detailed requirements documentation for delivery resources including but not limited to:Server components and layoutsNetwork device configurationsPhysical labelingData captureBIOS settings and firmware versionsOperating system requirementsTechnical specificationsRack ElevationsPort MappingBOMsVisio DiagramsPresent SHIs strategic value proposition to customers and partnersMentor and develop junior engineering resourcesDelegation of tasks to junior resources and other departments as appropriateActs as a point of contact for technical escalations by or for the customerTravel based on business needs and/or customer events as determined by SHI managementBe able to advise in all aspects of the sales cycle including: Submit Deal Registrations; obtain quotes from vendors, Distributors, and OEMs; provide Customer Facing Quotes and Sales PresentationsMaintain a current body of knowledge on OEM solutions through consistent renewal or attainment of industry certifications Qualifications Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information TechnologyMinimum 5 years of technical, business and/or sales experience working with scale-out infrastructureSubject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: servers, storage, networking, or physical and power infrastructureFamiliarity with Customer Resource Management Software, Quoting Tools, and Reporting Required Skills Must be able to balance quality and quantity of work as well as accuracy vs urgency in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skillsProficiency with Excel, Airtable, and VisioAbility to learn fast, absorb knowledge and apply newly learned information Excellent presentation skills Excellent consultative skills Ability to work both individually and in a team environmentAbility to work both individually and in a team environmentAbility to understand and resolve escalation and issue managementAbility to working effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally Certifications RequiredOne or more required at time of hire:

The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
