Role description:

The ICT and Physical Electronic Security Design Consultant will play a pivotal role in designing technology solutions and evaluating the use of technology equipment within industry-standard design solutions.

Role accountabilities:

Report to the Technology Systems Architect Systems design of ICAT, ICT, Audio Visual, Security (ESS), Access Control, Structured Cabling solutions Working knowledge of Division 27 and 28 ESS, Audio Visual, ICT, ICAT requirements Draft design specifications of technology solutions Develop drawings using Visio, Bluebeam and CAD including systems line diagrams Work with our Revit/CAD team to develop floor plans and elevations describing device placement Evaluation of technology equipment available in the industry for suitability of use in design solutions Develop written system specifications and functional system narratives in Master Format specification templates Liaise with design team including electrical, mechanical and architectural consultants Attend and lead design meetings with clients and design team Development of budgetary implementation costs Construction administration as appropriate, including site reviews, site review reports Business development and maintenance of client relations Coordinating with and training junior team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

Highly capable with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel Comfortable working with remote task assignment software programs and working with and managing remote team members Strong team development and leadership capability- mentorship and training as well as setting and defining team goals and requirements Familiarity and comfort in working in agile sprint-based team assignment and organizational structure 4-year industry related degree required, industry recognized designations an asset including CTS, CTS-D, RCDD, CSP, PSP, PMP Must be US Citizen Experience working with design markup programs such as Visio, Bluebeam, CAD (an asset) Ability to work with remote enabling technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, Go To Meeting etc Confident with the ability to build strong working relationships Energetic, diplomatic, flexible, problem-solving mindset Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to take initiative Engineering/ Architectural / Construction Industry experience beneficial Ability to anticipate needs and meet expectations Continue your career journey as an Arcadian

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
