JOB DESCRIPTION: Provisions access requests in accordance with governance policies, IAM procedures, and IAM guidelines - ensuring Emory Healthcare's employees and sponsored identities have timely and appropriately authorized access to applications, systems, and data. Develop increasing knowledge of identity and access governance, becoming an enthusiastic advocate for adoption of best practices through assigned and self-directed continual learning. Demonstrates exceptional judgement in the matching of common and novel requests with the applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, and historic precedents to ensure IAM services combine both customer service and organizational governance. Communicates effectively and succinctly in a professional and engaging manner with the rest of the organization. Tenaciously focused on excellent service quality and responsiveness without the sacrifice of proper governance. Adheres to corporate standards, policies, and procedures to achieve regulatory compliance. Provides on-call support under a rotation model as the organization's automation, procedural depth and alternative support models are implemented to reduce or eliminate the necessity of on-call. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major course work in computer science, information technology, engineering AND two (2) years of experience in Identity & Access Governance with large enterprise organizations OR six (6) years of experience in Identity & Access Governance without a degree. Working knowledge and subject matter expertise in the assigned operational department areas. An Epic Security Certification is required for this position. Communications: Clear verbal communication: Explains policy or procedures to customers in an accurate and concise manner that reinforces a positive and professional perception of the IAM team and services. Written communication: Crafts professional and courteous email responses to customer queries in a clear and concise manner that reinforces a positive and professional perception of the IAM team and services. Formal Interactions: Develops presentations on current state processes, with insightful observations and personal experience to small audiences of less than ten people. Critical thinking: Demonstrates critical thinking and consistent application of policies and procedures to access provisioning requests that are novel or uncommon. Identifies relevant criteria of novel/uncommon circumstances and creates/updates procedures to ensure appropriate authorization and governance standards will be met by subsequent provisioning requests matching the criteria. Oversight/Autonomy: Understands value of employee engagement to employee and organization and is interested in expanding knowledge and experience (e.g. continuous learning) and successful delivery upon assigned responsibilities that is required to achieve increasing autonomy (e.g. all employees should desire greater responsibility it is the essential driver for career growth). Advises less experienced Access Administrators on appropriate actions, interpretation of policies or procedures, or historical precedent. Updates procedures and process guidelines under the guidance of more experienced Access Administrators, and/or IAM leadership.
