I & E Summer Internship (Arnegard, ND) * * * 2 Openings Available * * * Pay: $22-24 per hour Expiration Date of Job Posting: Continuous POSITION SUMMARY: In this critical role, you will be responsible for performing several tasks related to oil & gas wellhead automation. Duties include trouble-shooting tasks such as ABB TotalFlow RTU programming, equipment calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, tank measurements, H20 measurements, radio installations, antenna adjustments, and other communication duties. The intern must be customer-oriented, maintain excellent relationships and service to existing customers. Customer requirements might need this person to work alone. The intern must be reliable, hard-working, and be adaptable to different working environments, including extreme weather environments. CORE COMPETENCIES:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Experience in creating and reading logic and flow diagrams is a plus.
+ Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
+ Able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blue print schematics.
+ Valid driver's license and good MVR.
+ Able to speak, write, and read the English language.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Prepare, install, and provide service maintenance on all company products at client sites, which may include equipment calibrations, troubleshooting, radio installations, instrument and controls programming, performing low-voltage electrical wiring, tank and H20 measurement, antenna adjustments, and other communication duties.
+ Keep accurate records of all hours logged, inventory parts used, and services performed.
+ Perform wiring of components.
+ Able to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment.
+ Perform PLC/RTU troubleshooting, using the ABB Totalflow products.
+ Create documentation and forms for customers and Company personnel as needed.
+ Maintain strong customer relations.
+ Must be able to work alone in remote areas.
+ May be designated as a driver or assigned a job with driving responsibilities.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
+ Responsible for assisting in callout on emergency outages or problems.
+ Must be able to drive a company vehicle (includes, trailer and heavy loads).
+ Keep accurate records of all hours logged, inventory parts used, and services performed.
+ Provide excellent service to customers.
+ Daily completion of CSR.
+ Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company employees, customers, and outside vendors.
+ Effectively manage time, follow directions and complete work within specified time.
+ Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certificates.
+ Maintain a sound understanding of all industry safety norms and regulations.
+ Properly utilize and care for and secure all company tools, supplies, and vehicles.
+ Efficiently follow orders from Management.
+ Checks and responds to all company communications on all scheduled workdays, including voice mail, emails, and text messages. Makes sure that old voice mails are cleared regularly so that the mailbox does not get full.
+ Complies with all applicable Company safety requirements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
