Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is looking for an E&I Project Manager to work on an initial 1-year assignment in Port Arthur, TX with benefits.

Summary:
Our client, a leading company in the oil and gas sector, is seeking a highly skilled Instrumental and Electrical (E&I) Project Manager to support a long-term project in Port Arthur, TX. This role requires extensive experience managing complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, with a specific focus on I&E scopes within petrochemical environments. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proven leader who can drive results on projects ranging from several thousand to tens of millions of dollars.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement detailed I&E project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning.

Oversee and lead cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines.

Ensure successful execution of I&E projects by proactively managing risk, identifying issues, and implementing mitigation strategies.

Monitor project performance and provide consistent updates to stakeholders and clients.

Drive adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards.

Manage procurement activities, including vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation.

Collaborate with internal teams to align I&E efforts with overall project goals.

Ensure proper installation, commissioning, and documentation of I&E systems and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of project management experience in the petrochemical industry, with a strong focus on I&E scopes.

Demonstrated success managing EPC projects with a wide range of budgets.

Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or similar).

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Strong proficiency in project management software and tools.

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualification: Direct experience with petrochemical processes and instrumentation/electrical equipment.
