DoubleTree by Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island Residences provides a variety of options that accommodate different needs, especially larger families looking for more space and in-room amenities. A total of 156 units offer guests a range of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom accommodation. Full amenities will include in-room kitchenettes, gym, pool and a variety of recreation facilities. The property is within walking distance from Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld and in close proximity to Yas Island’s other attractions and experiences, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, CLYMB Abu Dhabi and numerous world-class F&B outlets on the Island.

A Hygiene Officer assist in the EHS Manager in the maintenance/upgrade of sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure all food served to guests and employees are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination and all work areas conform to required Hygiene and Sanitation levels.

\nWhat will I be doing?

\n\n

The Hygiene Officer is responsible for the maintenance/upgrade of sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure all food served to guests and employees are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination and all work areas conform to required Hygiene and Sanitation levels. Specifically, the Hygiene Officer will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\n\n\tPropose and maintain minimum standards in all work areas, stores, receiving and disposal areas to adhere at all times to required hygiene standards\n\tAssisting the EHS Manager in daily operations\n\tResponsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the Hotel's sanitation and hygiene efforts/program\n\tFormulates and maintains an up-to-date methodology manual that is constantly available for use and review by the section personnel\n\tResponsible for promoting effective dissemination coordination with the rest of the staff in the Hotel\n\tResponsible for the office/section area being clean and orderly with an organized and efficient workflow\n\tPerforms special assignments and projects assigned to the office by the superiors\n\tConduct and chair the FSS Monthly Meeting\n\tMonitors, assists and performs all procedures and protocols for maintaining an excellent sanitation and hygienic environment\n\tIs part of the Hotel's Sanitation Team, which conducts monthly sanitation inspections throughout all food handling areas and generate respective reports\n\tContinually liaises with external agencies (laboratory, government bureau, health practitioners, etc.) on sanitary matters.\n

\n\n\n\tMinimum two to three years work experience as Hygiene Offcer in a hotel or similar large restaurant complex, preferable prerequisite is experience in the Hotel industry\n\tResponsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and of working under pressure\n\tGood communication and guest relation's skills, a proactive problem solver\n\tCreative with international culinary focus and flare. Attention to detail\n\tTeam player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of team members\n\tEquips and motivates team members to achieve predetermined goals, installing and maintaining appropriate empowerment Programs\n\tPersonable and pleasant to deal with. Reliable and approachable\n\tPositive can do attitude and flexible approach manages with humility\n\tHigh degree of integrity. Strong leadership.
