We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. \# **WeAreWSP #ECP** **What you can expect to do here:** + You’ll be using your expertise to conduct climate, hydrological, and hydraulic assessments, that would support regulatory applications and environmental assessments, water resource engineering and flood mapping projects + Preparing technical documents for senior review + Supporting the development and maintenance of external client relationships, either through project-based client interaction or supporting efforts of senior staff + You’ll be collaborating with colleagues and supporting senior staff to achieve project goals and meet deadlines, providing your guidance and expertise + You’ll be developing field data collection plans, conducting and supporting site visits and field work + Display a ‘safety first’ attitude in line with an interdependent health and safety culture, promoting positive health and safety, raising safety issues through the appropriate channels and adhering to WSP’s health and safety policy and protocols. **What you’ll bring to WSP:** + BSc degree in Civil Engineering, Geography or Environmental Sciences (with hydrology focus) or a MSc degree with focus on hydrology, water resources engineering, climate change assessment, or hydraulic modelling would be advantageous + Registered or eligible for registration as professional engineer in training in Alberta and/or other jurisdictions across Canada is an asset + Previous, demonstrable experience conducting hydrologic and hydraulic assessments or water resource engineering + Competency with GIS systems such as ArcGIS Pro or Global Mapper; programming languages (e.g., Python, R, C); GoldSim software, and hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, MIKE-SHE, HEC-HMS, HSPF) are an asset + Proficiency with Microsoft Office software + Commitment to technical excellence + Team player with strong communication skills + Good organizational ability and time management skills + You want to experience what it’s like to work for the leading environmental consulting firm globally and be part of a growing and thriving team! **WSP** is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
