Hybrid Energy Sales Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Hybrid Energy Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales in solar, battery energy storage, EV charging and multiple asset distributed generation projects. The role will focus on positioning these technologies as solutions for our customer’s energy and infrastructure needs while emphasizing their benefits.

Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with customers and identify opportunities for solar, battery energy storage, and distributed generation solutions.Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical and commercial support.Prepare proposals, complete contracts, and close sales deals.Provide support for new business development initiatives and marketing campaigns.Work closely with our engineering & project management team to support their functionKeep abreast of industry trends and market conditionsAttend industry conferences and trade shows to network with potential customers and educate the market on our hybrid solutions.Build and maintain relationships within Ziegler Inc.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other field that is relevant.Two year technical degree plus relevant work experience2+ years of technical sales experienceExperience in developing conceptual designs, proposals, and cost estimatesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as required.Experience specifically in solar or distributed generation is a plus

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing.Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be moderate at times.
