The position is technology focused and involves participation in a broad range of sensors systems engineering activities within the Sensors Technologies group
Responsibilities will include:
Deploying Industry-Leading Verification Methodologies such as UVM and Formal VerificationDeveloping Testbenches and Verification Components such as UVCs, C models, and Vertical/Horizontal re-usable Verification Environments.Verifying sensor algorithms RTL for ASIC tapeout quality deliveryTest plan development based on Design documents and interaction with design/systems engineersImplementing C model integration within UVM framework.Writing SystemVerilog assertionsDebugging, verifying, optimizing, and bit-exact matching with test vectorsAnalyzing coverage data and working with Design teams to address coverage holesDevelop/augment framework for running regressionsDebugging regression failures with design/Systems teamsSupport integration of design in higher-level subsystem including test planning, test vector delivery, and debug of test vectors at the integration levelPython automation for improving workflows and team efficiencyParticipate in all project reviewsSupporting software and other teams with debugDocumentationWhat are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.3+ years ASIC design verification, UVM-based functional verification, or related work experience.Experience using formal verification tools like Jasper or VC_Formal is a plusExperience with SystemC and Matlab are a plus.Gate level Simulation debug and usage of power extraction tools is a plusExperienced with constrained-random verification environment and flow build-up with UVM, Coverage-Driven verification methodologyExperienced with Assertions like System Verilog AssertionsExperience with debugging test failures and report verification result to achieve the expected code/functional/line coverage goalsExtensive usage of RTL simulation tools.UVM, System Verilog, Perl/Python shell-scripting skills requiredFamiliarity with C/C++Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environmentExcellent written and verbal skillsStrong interpersonal skills and a good team playerWhere you will be working

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 6+ months of experience with architecture and design tools.
• 6+ months of experience with scripting tools and programming languages.
• 6+ months of experience with design verification methods.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Applies ASIC knowledge to assist and support the defining, modeling, designing (digital and/or analog), optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting of IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high performance, high quality, low power products.
• Assists in the creation of architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and/or system simulations based on system-level requirements.
• Collaborates with team members to assist in the development of an implementation strategy that meets system requirements and customer needs.
• Supports the evaluation of process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and timing and power use, and verification or similarly for custom circuit design/layout flow.
• Utilizes tools/applications (e.g., RTL to GDS Flow, Virtuoso) to execute and enable architecture and design of a specific part of a block/SoC or IC Package.
• Writes technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
Level of Responsibility:
• Works under supervision.
• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.
• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
