HVAC Technician II
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have attended schooling for a specific trade or possess 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field. The HVAC Technician II will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems and equipment in accordance with BioMerieux policies and procedures.
Primary Duties
+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and BioMerieux policies and procedures.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
+ Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and improve operational efficiency.
+ Attend and complete required schooling and certification programs for specific trades.
+ Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
+ Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to maintenance
+ Prioritize projects and daily requests, assigning them to internal teams or external resources.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Training, Education, Experience
HVAC:
+ Gas certifications.
+ Universal refrigeration type universal license.
+ NATE certifications.
+ 4-6 years’ Commercial experience HVAC
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Journey out by attending schooling for a specific trade or 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
+ Commitment to safety and continuous learning.
Working Conditions
+ Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
+ Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.
+ Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.
+ Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
+ Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
+ Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
