Alutiiq Commercial Enterprises has an exciting opportunity supporting the U.S. Airforce at Joint Base Langley – Eustis (JBLE) located in the Hampton/Newport News, VA area.

The HVAC I - Preventive Maintenance Technician shall provide preventive maintenance and inspection services for all HVAC equipment located on Joint Base Langley Eustis.

Provide skilled labor to perform and or assist in preventative maintenance programs on all HVAC related equipment, to include: Chillers Boilers Air handlers Both package and split system air conditioning units Greasing and oiling of pumps and motors Inspecting and cleaning of HVAC units and coils Inspect and change as needed drive belts Transfer, change, and dispose of various types of filter media throughout the base Inspect HVAC machinery in operation to ensure proper functioning Perform or assist in small minor repairs Assist in performing seasonal changeover of all HVAC related equipment, to include cleaning both boiler and chiller tubes, cleaning, and winterizing cooling towers Assist in the procurement of parts and materials for job completion Other tasks as assigned
