**COMMERCIAL HVAC TECHNICIAN - Allentown, PA - Available to Start ASAP** ***SEARCHING FOR EXPERIENCED HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN FOR LONG-TERM POSITION. All service technicians receive company vehicle, company phone and company Ipad **Description:** + Well established mechanical looking to grow team of Service Technicians. + Individuals with installation experience will certainly be considered. + Review plans to determine placement of ductwork, air handler (furnace), air returns and heat + pump and/or air conditioning units if so equipped. + May transport equipment to jobsites/customer locations for assembly and installation. + Unload and stage equipment for placement. + Install equipment in proper order to ensure efficient hook-up and operation. + Alter parts as necessary, at jobsites, using shears, hammers, punches or drills. + Install assemblies such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning ductwork, and furnace casings, in supportive frameworks. + Maneuver completed units into position for installation and anchor the units. Inspect parts, assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications and building codes, using measuring instruments such as calipers, scales and micrometers. + Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts and rivets. + Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff or smooth surfaces, seams or joints of assembled parts, using hand tools or portable power tools. + Mark register openings and cut with appropriate saws or other tools. + After installation, ensure all duct seams are sealed to eliminate air leaks in the system. + Will be expected to make notes to ensure that all supplies, materials, job -related details and instructions, Service Tickets and other pertinent information is noted and communicated to appropriate personnel, vendors and customers. **Hours:** Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm **Pay:** $30hr-$40hr (starting rate based on prior experience) **Benefits:** **Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Sick days, Vacation days, PTO all kick in** **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
