We are in search of a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities' HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively to provide a comfortable environment for all occupants. **Responsibilities:** **Installation:** Install new HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units, following manufacturer specifications and industry standards. **Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing components to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential issues. **Repairs:** Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, troubleshooting issues with heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, and related equipment. **System Upgrades:** Recommend and implement upgrades or replacements for outdated or inefficient HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency and performance. **Monitoring:** Utilize computer maintenance monitoring systems to track system performance, schedule maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules. **Safety Compliance:** Ensure all HVAC work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and building codes. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. **Customer Service:** Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of work performed, maintenance recommendations, and addressing any inquiries. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals. **Emergency Response:** Respond promptly to emergency service calls to address HVAC system failures or malfunctions. **Preferred Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in HVAC technology preferred. Proven experience as an HVAC technician with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components. Valid HVAC technician certification (EPA 608 Certification). Strong knowledge of heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, and other HVAC equipment. Familiarity with computer maintenance monitoring systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
