Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to perform service and maintenance on commercial job sites. You will be responsible for servicing based on blueprints and ensuring all heating and cooling products, including heat pumps, ventilation systems, gas or oil furnaces, and boilers, are maintained in accordance with company, city, state, and county codes.
ResponsibilitiesPerform service and maintenance of HVAC systems on commercial job sites.Interpret and work based on blueprints.Ensure timely completion of service and maintenance tasks.Adhere to all relevant codes and regulations for service, mechanical, maintenance, and piping.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems as needed.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC service industry.Experience in the commercial HVAC service industry preferred.CFC Universal certification required.Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates with refrigeration background are considered.Controls experience preferred, but not required.Residential background with light commercial experience is acceptable.Journeyman's certification preferred.Vocational school or apprenticeship program education preferred.Why Work Here

Work is conducted in a commercial setting under the supervision of the company president/general manager. The company is a smaller, ten-person firm located in Upper Marlboro, providing a close-knit and collaborative work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crofton, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
