HVAC Sales Manager

Position Overview:

This role supports UGI/ HomeServe’s goal to significantly increase installation revenue growth (Heating, Cooling and Water Heaters) within the UGI business in Pennsylvania.  This position will collaborate with the Marketing, Business Development, Service Delivery and other departments within the organization to develop and execute sales strategies that will result in increased market share for traditional heating and cooling installation volumes.   

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a team of Comfort Advisors(CA) in regional depots throughout the UGI HVAC footprint to ensure regional revenue targets are met through increasing closing percentage, average ticket and lead generation. Work with Area Managers, Call Center Manager and Sales Coordinator to improve the process from lead to sale, evaluating scripting, lead reporting and scheduling, CA appointment process and appropriate follow-up to increase closing percentages. Manage CA performance through in-depth analysis of Salesforce data, one-on-one meetings, historical sales and closing trends within the UGI footprint. Team ride-alongs to ensure compliance with sales and product offerings including the HomeServe Advantage Leasing Plan and adherence to the Sandler Sales Principles. Work with the General Manager, Sales Coordinator and Corporate Marketing team to create responsive marketing offers and creatives for distribution within the UGI HVAC footprint. Work with Area and Field Managers on coordinating field employee training to improve lead generation and turnover of opportunities for sales appointments. Review and assess all financing and equipment product offerings and become the prime contact between supplier and company. Work with Director of Sales for HomeServe/UGI on strategy and new technique deployment in regional area, or across entire HSES footprint. Lead efforts to sell Installation and future products to residential customers, homeowner organizations, professional organizations, small commercial or other targeted clients within the assigned territory. Identify and conduct follow-up and assessment on lead generation activities through professional organizations, trade shows, community events, technicians, advertising and other lead generating techniques to maximize effectiveness. Assist in developing appropriate sales process and collateral for closing leads generated by demand marketing, call center and field employees. Conduct market analysis to determine the Company’s competitive position regarding products, pricing and service levels for areas of responsibility. Uncover and leverage customer and competitor insights to enhance product offering and enhance customer value. Coordinate the execution and review of RFPs with Legal, Business Development and other departments where applicable. Assist in determining and implementing appropriate strategies to expand residential, and small commercial markets. Participate in various networking opportunities within targeted professional, community or technical organizations Interface and collaborate with the Service Delivery organization to solve customer needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills; outstanding attention to detail and accuracy Minimum of 5 years of Sales Management experience. HVAC knowledge preferred. Extensive experience with Salesforce (or other CRM), HVAC Biz Pro (or other sales proposal tool), and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within PA market Ability to work a full time schedule, weekends or evenings
