Responsibilities

The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and pre-tripping Thermo King, and Carrier units. The Refrigeration Technician will troubleshoot & complete repairs on Thermo King and Carrier Gensets.

Qualifications Valid Driver’s LicensePrior refrigeration/reefer repair experience is requiredExperience with reading and understanding computer generated work ordersStrong communicator; communicates with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner Conforms with and abides by all work regulations, policies, procedures, safety rules and instructionsWillingness to obtain Forklift CertificationAbility to lift 50 pounds.Comfortable with working alone and/or with minimal supervisionAbility to train other employees as necessaryEPA CertificationMust pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
