HVAC Mechanical Project Manager

We are looking for HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to join our team for a project based in Cartersville, GA.

This is initially a 6-month project with the potential to extend beyond or transition to another project at completion.

This position is open to accept travelling resources with solid mobilization/de-mobilization funds and monthly per diem.

Roles and Responsibilities:Project management support:Provide project management support to assist the owner.Facilitate coordination among the client, general contractor, and suppliers.Schedule coordination:Provide support for coordinating, assessing, and updating the project schedule.Project management:Mechanical project manager:Supervise the installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls to ensure compliance with design documents and project requirements.Conduct regular site inspections to verify material quality, proper installation techniques, and adherence to safety protocols.Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to prevent conflicts and ensure smooth integration with structural, electrical, and plumbing systems.Address and resolve field issues, providing technical guidance to maintain design intent and installation quality.Ensure that HVAC installations comply with relevant codes, industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA), and project specifications.Identify and track deficiencies, ensuring corrective actions are completed before system acceptance.Monitor construction progress against the project schedule, ensuring HVAC installation milestones are met.Coordinate sequencing of HVAC work to align with overall project timelines and minimize delays.Provide weekly progress updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.Oversee HVAC system start-up, balancing, and commissioning activities.Ensure that all equipment is tested, verified, and adjusted to meet performance requirements before project handover.Work closely with commissioning agents and contractors to resolve issues identified during functional testing.
