Perform general preventative and minor corrective maintenance with oversight of a high level HVAC technician which includes electronic and mechanical components; installation of HVAC ductwork, including flexible tubing and sheet metal construction; installation or repair of refrigerant lines; installation and recycling of CFC or HCFC refrigerants; installation or repair of electrical connections to HVAC components; With higher level support, assist with and maintain, repair, replace, and preventatively maintain HVAC equipment, refrigeration equipment, and cold rooms. Accomplish on-the-job training (OJT) - Learn campus buildings by names and numbers - Learn tools, equipment, and materials used in the trade Completes NCCER Core Enter maintenance data via the work order system for work requests (WR) and time. Provide support services to other trades (e.g., properly route or phase WR) as may be required for the timely and efficient repair of buildings and/or equipment.
