**Job Title: HVAC Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an HVAC Mechanic to join our team at a large hospital trauma center in Danville, PA. The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting and performing preventative maintenance on large tonnage central plant equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining various air distribution systems, changing filters, and responding to service calls.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on large tonnage central plant equipment.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot all types of air distribution systems.
+ Change large filters (this can be repetitive and time-consuming).
+ Troubleshoot equipment and respond to service calls.
**Essential Skills**
+ HVAC troubleshooting experience.
+ HVAC service experience.
+ EPA certification or willingness to get certified within 6 months.
+ Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Residential HVAC experience considered for candidates with the right attitude.
+ Preferred: Associate's degree or higher.
+ Humble and solutions-oriented attitude.
+ Positive and proactive approach to work.

**Work Environment**
You will be working as part of a group of 40+ facilities technicians in a very large hospital environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Danville, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.69 - $31.00
